CAN AIRPORT TRANSFERS BE ARRANGED?Absolutely. During your pre-arrival planning call with our crew we offer the service of an airport meet and greet as well as transfer to the yacht for an additional charge. If you prefer to organize your own transportation, airport taxis are available.

CAN WE CHARGE OUR CAMERAS AND READING DEVICES?Each cabin has charging stations on either side of the bed for guests. The galley, cockpit, and flybridge feature charging pads for your devices, and converters are supplied onboard.

CAN WE FISH?We have multiple fishing rods on the yacht. One of our guests favorite activities is late night fishing off the stern. We often catch fish during our sail between the small islands and your catch may become that night’s dinner. Our seasoned crew are all avid fishers who would love to help you learn or just enjoy the activity.

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS?Chef Simóne is skilled at preparing meals that are gluten-free as well as vegetarian without compromising taste. She can also support guests who are lactose-free, vegan, prefer no fish, no red meat etc. During your pre-arrival planning call, she will review any special requests and ensure the meals onboard cater to your needs.

DO WE WEAR SHOES ONBOARD?Barefoot luxury is how you will experience Tru North during your stay! For transfers to shore for dining and activities, you can bring your sandals or runners in the provided Tru North tote bags.

DO YOU PROVIDE LAND ACCOMMODATION BEFORE AND AFTER OUR CRUISE?We would love to host you at Azure Vista Estate, our US Virgin Islands Villa. With a chef's kitchen, infinity pool, and room for up to 10 to sleep comfortably, this is the perfect spot to extend your holiday, pre or post sail. DO YOU HAVE EMERGENCY CONTACT NUMBERS?Our captain has a cell phone and the yacht is equipped with a VHF radio onboard. We also have a list of emergency contact details we can review with you during your pre-arrival planning call.

DO WE NEED TRAVEL INSURANCE?Guests are advised to purchase travel insurance coverage with a carrier of their choosing to put their mind at ease while traveling.

IS INTERNET ACCESS AVAILABLE?Tru North is equipped with Starlink internet for moments when you need to connect such as downloading a book or checking in back home. We find guests often want to “unplug” during their stay but feel comforted by knowing they have access, if needed, along the route.

IS SMOKING PERMITTED?Smoking is not permitted inside the yacht. Smoking is only allowed on the back steps, where the smoke drifts away and will not disturb the other guests.

IS THERE AIR CONDITIONING ON THE YACHT?We recognize sleeping in comfort is key. Our crew typically turns on the air conditioning in the cabins for the evening until guests wake the next day or as requested. We are conscious of our environmental footprint to preserve our pristine destinations. During the day, we often experience beautiful cross breezes while aboard the yacht.

WHAT ABOUT SEASICKNESS?Our yacht is a catamaran (with two hulls) making it quite stable. The waters are generally calm, and our guests rarely suffer from seasickness. If you are concerned, please bring some form of prevention that can be purchased at your local drug store prior to travel or contact your GP for a prescription.

WHAT IS INCLUDED FOR SCUBA DIVING?We are fully equipped with tanks, BCDs, regulators, fins, masks, snorkels, and safety equipment. Our onboard dive compressor allows us to fill tanks as often as we need. We encourage you to pack lightly unless you have a preference for using your own gear. Wetsuits are not provided.

WHAT KIND OF ENTERTAINMENT IS AVAILABLE ONBOARD?The yacht is stocked with cards and board games for all ages to play at any of the dining or lounge spaces. Our high/low TV, as well as surround sound system, can be connected to devices to watch or listen to your own downloaded content.

WHAT SHOULD WE BRING WITH US?We encourage you to pack as lightly as you can in soft luggage to make the most of your room storage. Most of our guests live in bathing suits, shorts, tee shirts, and casual wear. For evenings we suggest having a few lightweight items that layer such as wraps or long sleeves shirts. For dining ashore, we suggest packing a few shirts with collars to pair with shorts for gentlemen and sun-dresses for ladies. Reef friendly sunscreen, a good hat and sunglasses are essential. For footwear onshore, we suggest sturdy sandals or runners for walks and hikes and flip flops for other occasions.

WHAT ARE STANDARD INCLUSIONS FOR EACH CABIN BATHROOM?Each cabin comes with both bath and beach towels as well as robes for your stay. We also provide environmentally friendly shower products and have the essentials onboard such as razors and sunscreen if you forget. We provide guests with tote bags to keep all of their items organized.

WHAT ARE STANDARD CREW GRATUITIES?Our crew wants to ensure you feel taken care of and will always go the extra mile from the moment you book until you depart with memories that will last a lifetime. The suggested industry standard is 18% to 20% of the all-inclusive rate.

WILL MY CELL PHONE WORK?We encourage you to contact your provider to find out if you need to make upgrades for the region where you are sailing to be connected.
